| The Marcus Miller Z3 4-string bass is Sire's return to the punchy sound of the late '70s, capturing the grit and aggression of an all-time classic. Starting with a lightweight mahogany body with a well-balanced Z-Bass carve, the Z3 sports an assortment of vintage-inspired features, including an oval-shaped pickguard, a swooping control plate, an oversized bridge-position humbucker, and a solid standard MM bridge. The hard maple "C" neck profile offers a fast and extremely comfortable feel. At the same time, the Edgeless fretboard treatment on the matching hard maple fingerboard, the 12" radius, and the 22 medium-jumbo frets provide a foundation suitable for all kinds of fretboard heroes. You also get a Marcus Heritage-3 active preamp system, complete with a 3-band EQ for precise tonal accuracy. Whether you are a devoted slapper or just looking for a rugged workhorse for your next gig, the Sire Marcus Miller Z3 is ready to take over. |
