Performing on this system, you will feel as one with the decks and be able to deliver more creative performances. Thanks to the full-size jog wheels, similar to those of the CDJ-3000, pitch bending and scratching on the XDJ-AZ are incredibly smooth. The mixer section inherits the intuitive layout of the DJM-A9, with all controls positioned to maximize playability. Furthermore, it features easy-to-use buttons for Beat FX assignment, which will help you express yourself through music. So, once you have mastered the XDJ-AZ, you will be familiar with how club-standard equipment works and feels, and it will be much easier for you to perform at your best in venues.
Access your rekordbox library in the cloud directly from the XDJ-AZ with CloudDirectPlay. You can use the latest version of your playlists and performance data, such as hot cue information, and even update them from the unit. This not only ensures an uninterrupted DJ experience, but also allows you to handle all preparations exclusively from the all-in-one system. To use rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you will need a rekordbox Creative or Professional plan subscription or the Cloud Option service.
Thanks to Beatport Streaming support, the StreamingDirectPlay function allows you to play tracks directly from Beatport's vast dance music library and the latest genre-specific playlists. You will also be able to obtain analysis data, such as waveforms, BPM, and grid information, so you can easily mix new and diverse music into your set.
In addition to playing tracks from USB drives, you can DJ by connecting to your PC/Mac or a mobile device. Furthermore, if you want to showcase your individuality even more, you can play audio from external devices such as turntables and samplers. The unit is equipped with a USB Type-C port for connection to PC/Mac, so you can use rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode or Serato DJ Pro 1 without having to subscribe to a paid plan. Additionally, if you use the Wi-Fi connection for rekordbox Link Export, you can conveniently access tracks from your PC/Mac or mobile device without needing to connect cables.
