The Deluxe Bobby Weir 3 is a masterful semi-hollow that offers a vast array of unique tones. By pairing an elegant body shape with two custom TV Jones humbuckers and a wiring configuration that allows access to inner and outer coil pairs via push-pull tone knobs, players can evoke Weir’s notoriously slinky tones while simultaneously developing their own original sound. The ebony fingerboard tops an extraordinarily comfortable slim C-shape neck, while the smooth neck transition and deep cutaway allow for easy access to the higher frets. Other premium features include Jescar frets, the custom D'Angelico Shield tremolo, and Grover tuners.
Road-tested for years with Dead & Company and designed to offer the perfect balance between airy warmth and the “clang of cold steel” long sought after by Weir, the Bobby Weir 3 is an undeniable tonal powerhouse.
