| Fans of the timeless Fender Jazz Bass—with its sculpted contours, responsive touch, and wildly successful musical sound—will certainly find its match in the American Performer series at a surprising price. On board each one, you'll find two passive Yosemite Alnico V pickups with modern electronics for a clean, quiet output. Fender's modern satin maple "C" neck is crafted for comfort and speed, and its lightweight alder body promises great, long-lasting performances without making you sweat. Modern departures from the classic J include the Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off high end without adding bass or reducing volume, offering a high level of control right from your instrument. |
