| Fender achieved great success in 1993 thanks to the "Tweed" series amplifiers. The concept behind the operation was: what would happen if a great collectible amp from the '50s, like a '50s Deluxe or a Bassman, were modified with channel switching and reverb? Here is the Reissue Blues Deluxe - a vintage-style tube amp with boutique sound at an incredible price, which many professionals have used for rock, country, and blues with excellent results. Like its more recent cousin, the Hot Rod Deluxe, it has many modern features, and many professionals request it for its warm sound, unique circuitry, and look so faithful to the original versions. The Reissue Blues Deluxe delivers 40 Watts through a 12" Special Design Eminence speaker, thanks to two 6L6 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. Its two channels, Normal (with bright switch) and Drive, are ideal for classic blues, country, and rock sounds; other features include Fender spring reverb, an effects loop, and a two-button footswitch. The winning look consists of a tweed covering, "chicken head" knobs, and a chrome control panel. |
