18-IN / 8-OUT USB AUDIO INTERFACE FOR PC AND MAC Clarett USB challenges interfaces that cost twice as much. The Clarett USB range features specially designed, high-performance, low-noise (-128 dB EIN) microphone preamps with an ultra-linear, low-distortion design that guarantees a clean, open, and transparent sound, providing an accurate representation of the original performance. Equipped with a 119dB dynamic range, Clarett can now be connected to any Mac or PC that supports USB 2.0 and later. Decades of experience in analog circuit design, together with 24-bit / 192kHz A-D and D-A conversion, offer a superior signal path. Clarett 4Pre USB is an audio interface with 18 inputs and 8 outputs. Gain Halo meters make it easy to set the input level for the four Mic/Line inputs, two of which are high-impedance Instrument inputs that can record high-output pickups without unwanted distortion. Four fixed Line inputs are also included, and the ADAT input supports eight additional channels in combination with multi-channel microphone preamps like the Clarett OctoPre. Outputs include two monitor outputs with anti-thump technology, two line outputs, and two headphone outputs with volume control. MIDI I/O and S/PDIF I/O are also present. The four microphone preamps with Air functionality can reproduce the input impedance, clarity, and frequency response curve of Focusrite’s original ISA mic preamp. Clarett 4Pre USB connects to Mac or PC using the included USB and USB Type-C cables. Furthermore, the interface records with very low latency via amp simulators and effects plug-ins. Configure your routing and monitoring from your Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch with the intuitive Focusrite Control software. Additional software included: XLN Audio, Focusrite, Softube, Ableton, and Loopmasters.Features
