The HK Audio Sonar is an active 15" driver speaker with an integrated DSP and mixer. It offers three input channels: two for microphone or line signals plus an Aux channel, and it receives analog signals as well as signals via Bluetooth 5.0. Music can be streamed in stereo to two Sonar Xi speakers via Bluetooth TWS (True Wireless Stereo). It includes a volume control and 3-band equalization for each channel, which can be adjusted intuitively using the knob and color display. Thanks to the free Sonar Remote app (for iOS and Android), all functions can also be controlled remotely for greater convenience. Revolutionary technology, cutting-edge development tools, and advanced manufacturing methods: combine all these factors with decades of audio experience, and very special things can happen. This is exactly what happened with the new Sonar speaker family: it is the first of its kind to offer high-quality sound at an affordable price. The integrated digital mixer in the Xi models offers two independent channels for microphone or line signals, as well as an Aux channel for analog and Bluetooth 5.0 signals. It can even receive both signals simultaneously. The Mix Out output is used to send signals to additional speakers or can be used as a source for live recording. Each of the three channels has its own dedicated volume controller and a 3-band equalizer. Furthermore, there are three preset modes (Live, DJ, Monitor) and a preset for use in combination with the Sonar subwoofer. With Bluetooth TWS, stereo audio streaming via two Sonar Xi models is a breeze. Two Sonar Xi speakers can be linked together, and in addition to passing the sound through, they can also be controlled remotely at the same time via the Remote app. What does TWS mean? TWS stands for True Wireless Stereo, meaning these speakers can play separate content that is independent of both each other and the source from which the sounds originate, whether it be a mobile phone, tablet, PC, or much more, even a simple smart TV. This system is perfect for creating a wireless stereo sound source. The Sonar Remote app for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones is the simplest and fastest way to control the integrated digital mixer. It allows you to control all settings and functions of the Sonar Xi models, including the 3-band equalizer parameters for each channel. You can also save scenes and presets to make them available on demand by controlling parameters such as adjustments for frequently used microphones, modified Sonar Xi settings, or basic configurations for different locations. All settings changed in the app are displayed simultaneously on the SONAR Xi speaker display and vice versa! Both displays synchronize in real time.
