The active VM-50 model produces clear audio with punchy, fast-attacking bass. The speaker can be tuned to suit the characteristics of any room, making it perfect for recreating a club sound while DJing or providing a flat frequency response when producing music in a home or professional studio setting.
Each speaker in the VM series includes a Class D amplifier with 96kHz sampling DSP to allow for wide-bandwidth audio reproduction. Its highly efficient performance results in low distortion and high-energy sound. The rigid 4mm-thick aluminum front baffle further eliminates resonance and vibrations, delivering a sound that is faithful to the original source.
The aramid fiber woofer cones offer exceptional power that you can feel in the low-mid frequencies. These newly developed cones are 30% lighter than traditional paper-lined aramid cones, making them stronger with a deeper sound.
To help you fine-tune the output and find the perfect sound for the space you work in, every speaker includes DSP settings. There are 2 knobs on the rear panel: Low EQ and High EQ. Without even looking, you can click the knobs into 4 different positions each and choose from 16 simple EQ presets. Choose the one that sounds best for DJing or producing music at home or in the studio.
