AlphaTheta Corporation announces the new XPRS2 speaker series from its Pioneer DJ brand. The XPRS2 Series combines the versatility and easy handling of the original XPRS series with elevated sound performance and audio intelligibility, to offer a top-level speaker system for mobile DJs, live sound environments, houses of worship, fixed installations, and rental companies.

The XPRS2 Series uses Class D amplification with high output power for an immersive, high-quality sound experience for both performers and listeners. The XPRS 102 and XPRS 122 full-range speakers feature 2000W Class D amplification, while the XPRS1152S and XPRS1182S subwoofers offer 4000W Class D amplification.
The brand-new XPRS2 speaker series stands out for its stylish, all-black protective plywood cabinets, capable of withstanding the most demanding environmental conditions both outdoors and indoors. All models in the series are equipped with sturdy handles that facilitate system portability and handling during setup and teardown. The XPRS2 Series is also equipped with rubber feet that create separation and absorb shock between surfaces.
Both XPRS2 full-range speakers contain four different preset DSP modes - Live, Music, Speech, and Floor Monitor - that meet the needs of the most diverse listening environments.
In addition to the four presets, each XPRS2 full-range speaker includes 16 user-customizable DSP modes, which can be saved with different names to ensure that EQ settings are optimized for every scenario.
The Pioneer XPRS 122 represents the largest full-range speaker in the XPRS2 Series. With a 12" woofer and 3" voice coil, along with a 1" exit compression driver and 1.75" voice coil, these speakers ensure effective sound coverage for mid-to-large-sized audiences and venues. With a frequency response from 48Hz to 20kHz and a maximum SPL of 131dB, this versatile full-range speaker delivers powerful sound, capable of performing at its best even in the most challenging acoustic environments, such as live DJ sets.
