Ufip Est. 1931 14" Hi-Hats

After a long process of research and experimentation that saw the important contribution of our Artist Federico Paulovich, the new EST.1931 line was born as a tribute to the year our company was founded. The new Est.1931s are characterized by dry, soft, dark, and decidedly traditional sounds, yet they are at the same time extremely modern and current, capable of adapting perfectly to the most varied musical genres. The Crashes are dark and soft with an excellent attack, but with a rather quick decay, contained overtones, and a sound spectrum concentrated on the low frequencies. The rides are dry, perfectly controllable, with a defined ping, but always perfectly crashable. The Hi-Hats are versatile and dry, with excellent response and great control.

• Production: “Rotocasting” casting procedure using molds specifically designed with a reduced bell size for maximum response control. Hand-hammered, finely tuned.

• Application: Modern and traditional jazz, Big Band, Funk, Pop, Drum and Bass, and all acoustic situations where contained volume is required
• Sound: dry, warm, harmonious, soft, with frequencies concentrated in the lower part of the sound spectrum
