The active VM-70 model produces clear audio with punchy bass and a fast attack. The speaker can be tuned to suit the characteristics of any room, making it perfect for recreating a club sound when DJing or for providing a flat frequency response when producing music in a home or professional studio setting.
Each speaker in the VM series includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP to allow for wide-bandwidth audio reproduction. The highly efficient performance results in low distortion and high-energy sound. The 4mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle further eliminates resonance and vibrations, delivering sound that is faithful to the original source.
The aramid fiber woofer cones offer exceptional power, which can be felt in the low-mid frequencies. These newly designed cones are 30% lighter than traditional paper-coated aramid cones and therefore stronger, with a deeper sound.
To help you tweak the output and find the perfect sound for the environment you are working in, each speaker includes DSP settings. On the rear panel, there are 2 knobs: Low EQ and High EQ. Without even having to look, you can click the knobs into 4 different positions each and benefit from 16 easy-to-use EQ presets. Choose the one that sounds best for DJing or for producing music at home or in the studio.
